Mrs. Megan Maier

Hello!  My name is Megan Maier and this is my seventh year of teaching at Elgin/New Leipzig Public School.  I currently teach 7th Grade Life Science, 8th Grade Earth Science, Biology, Physical Science, and Pre-Algebra 8/9. 

I am originally from Southwestern MN but have lived in Elgin for almost 8 years.  My husband Alan and I have one son that is in kindergarten and we have a little dog named Elliot.  Below you will find my class schedule for the 2023-2024 school year:

• 1st Period (8:20 – 9:15) – 7th Grade Life Science
• 2nd Period (9:18 – 10:08) – 8th Grade Earth Science
• 3rd Period (10:11 – 11:01) – Biology
• 4th Period (11:04 – 11:54) – Physical Science
• Lunch (11:54-12:30)
• 5th Period (12:32 – 1:24) – Study Hall
• 6th Period (1:27 – 2:17) – Pre-Algebra 8/9
• 7th Period (2:20 – 3:15) – Prep
