WEB DESIGN

Web Design is described as “the art and process of creating a single web page or entire web sites”.  Some of the aspects that may be included in the web design of web production are graphics and animation creation, color and font selection, navigation design and content creation.

 

CLASS EXPECTATIONS

A business atmosphere will provide the work environment for this class.  In this class the students will be using Dreamweaver guidelines to prepare, research, design and publish web sites.  Students will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the Grant County High School website.

GRADING

Students will be graded on total points.  Daily assignments will be given and are due by the date given.  In the event that work is turned in late, 5 points will be deducted from the grade each day up to three days.  After three days the student will receive a zero.  Objective tests, independent challenges and individual websites will be used to evaluate student understanding.

  • Adding Media and Interactivity
  • Creating and Using Templates
  • Working with Library Items and Snippets
